چکیده
The modular construction industry often seeks cost-effective, high-performing, and longer-span members in buildings to ensure efficiency quality. Accordingly, the idea of built-up sections was brought into gain numerous benefits including higher structural capacity, improved torsional rigidity, increased stiffness. While limited research studies have been carried out study performances sections, few innovative section profiles developed considering benefits, Hence, application newly could enhance employment industry. On that note, this is focused on flexural behaviour optimised named LCB-benchmark (Lipped Channel Beam), optimised-LCB, folded-flange super-sigma sections. In addition, different materials, namely cold-formed carbon steel (CFS), (CF) aluminium CF stainless steel, were considered for order provide recommendations based their performances. Numerical analysis single as well parametric plan after successful validation experimental studies. results compared Finally, comparisons, recommended all three materials it displayed highest bending capacity enhancement corresponding a minimum 131%.

Flexural Behaviour of RCC Beams
Concrete is the material which is rapidly used in various conditions to sustain the compression loads and the corresponding bending and shear stress due to the applied compressive loads. The major drawback in concrete is that it is poor in tension though it is very efficient in compression. Hence to overcome this major drawback the concrete must be reinforced such that to make a homogeneous sub...
متن کاملNumerical Study on the Flexural Behaviour of Concrete Beams Reinforced by GFRP Bars
Enhancement of the response of reinforced concrete (RC) beams using fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcement bars has become a popular structural technique over the past two decades due to the well-known advantages of FRP composites including their high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. Thisstudy presents n...
متن کاملStructural behaviour of RC beams with external flexural and flexural–shear strengthening by FRP sheets
This paper presents experimental research on reinforced concrete (RC) beams with external flexural and flexural–shear strengthening by fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) sheets consisting of carbon FRP (CFRP) and glass FRP (GFRP). The work carried out has examined both the flexural and flexural–shear strengthening capacities of retrofitted RC beams and has indicated how different strengthening arra...
متن کاملFlexural Behavior of Reinforced HPFRCC Beams
High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composite (HPFRCC) materials exhibit strain hardening behavior with multiple cracking under tensile loading. In this paper, experimental and parametric studies are performed to assess the influence of using HPFRCC material instead of normal concrete in reinforced concrete beams. After calibrating the experimental results, the analytical results inc...
متن کاملGeneralized Warping In Flexural-Torsional Buckling Analysis of Composite Beams
The finite element method is employed for the flexural-torsional linear buckling analysis of beams of arbitrarily shaped composite cross-section taking into account generalized warping (shear lag effects due to both flexure and torsion). The contacting materials, that constitute the composite cross section, may include a finite number of holes. A compressive axial load is applied to the beam. The...
